Diplomatic Visa



 

 

Diplomatic passport holders travelling to the USA on personal travel need to schedule an appointment through the VisaPoint by choosing the appropriate visa type category (B1/B2, F1, F2, etc).

- Servants of diplomats need to schedule interview appointments through the VisaPoint whether their employers are traveling for official or personal reasons.   

- Diplomats travelling to the USA on a diplomatic or official mission should present a diplomatic note from the sending organization or, in the case of Saudi officials, from the Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs.  These procedures apply to representatives of recognized International Organizations (IMF, World Bank, WHO etc.) and to diplomats from Embassies or Consulates located in Riyadh, Jeddah and Dhahran;

AND   

Who are being sent to the United States on official government or international organization business, require.

These applicants should be directed to consult with their administrative offices that normally take care of their visa issues.  Applicants may bring in their Passport, completed application and Diplomatic Note stating the time and purpose of travel to the Consular Section any business day between 8:00am and 4:00pm.

MRV Fee: A, C3, and G visa applicants, and diplomatic passport holders applying for any visa, are exempt from the US$131 MRV fee. The MRV fee is nonrefundable, even if paid in error.
